Fiday Night Blast Off

RD Dental is proud to announce our “Billboard Hit” sponsorship of Blythesdale Children’s Hospital “Friday Night Blast-Off” Fundraiser on April 29, 2011. The proceeds from this event will help close the funding gap for Blythedale’s new, state-of-the-art inpatient building, set to debut in Fall 2011. This spectacular facility will usher in a new era of advanced care and treatment of our region’s sickest children. For over 120 years, Blythesdale has served the region’s most medically fragile children, regardless of economic status. Through their family-centered approach, round-the-clock medical and nursing care, integrated therapy programs and on-site public school, they help patients reach their greatest potential and return home as quickly as possible.

Don’t forget we are still collecting new clothing for boys and girls in sizes 2 Toddler to Size 7 for Blythedale’s newest patients. You can drop these items off to us during our normal business hours. Contributions are greatly appreciated!

Clothing Drive

Established in 1891, Blythedale Children's Hospital is dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis, care and treatment of children with complex medical and rehabilitative needs. Blythedale is a national leader in developing innovative, multi-disciplinary inpatient and ambulatory programs, as well as a community resource for children with a variety of medical concerns. Blythedale is the only independent, free-standing children's hospital in New York State and as such relies heavily on donations.

RD Dental will be holding a clothing drive for Blythedale Children's Hospital for the following items: bibs, Socks, onesies (with snaps), baby blankets, outfits & sweaters for ages birth-2 years old, board books, boys extra-large sweatpants, men's socks sizes 6-11 & 7-13, men's boxer underwear, and men's jackets.

Operation Gratitude

We are proud to announce our Candy Buyback was very successful! We collected 150 pounds of candy that will be shipped to our troops overseas through Operation Gratitude, an organization that seeks to lift morale and put smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed in harm's way. Many thanks to all the patients who donated candy to this very worthwhile cause! Visit the Operation Gratitude website to learn more.

Dr. Donelli has matched the candy donation and has donated $200 to the Layla Grace Children's Cancer Research foundation, a non-profit organization that funds research for new therapies for high-risk childhood cancers with the goal of increasing the survival rate of children diagnosed with these diseases and strives to positively touch the lives of children and families currently undergoing treatment.
